JK Tyre: The highly anticipated Indian Car of the Year (ICOTY) and Indian Motorcycle of the Year (IMOTY) awards, proudly presented by JK Tyre, marked a momentous occasion as they celebrated the 20th edition of ICOTY and the 18th edition of IMOTY. The grand event was hosted at the elegantly designed Levitas Lounge in New Delhi and was attended by prominent industry leaders, renowned journalists, and members of the automotive fraternity.

The Mahindra Thar Roxx claimed the prestigious title of ICOTY 2025, impressing the jury with its cutting-edge features, innovative design, and segment-leading technology. On the two-wheeler front, the Aprilia RS 457 emerged victorious as IMOTY 2025, showcasing exceptional performance and agility that set it apart from its competitors.

Dr. Raghupati Singhania, Chairman and Managing Director of JK Tyre & Industries, along with ICOTY Chairman Dhruv Behl, IMOTY Chairman Kartik Ware, and a distinguished panel of jury members, presented the awards to the winners. Reflecting on the milestone event, Dr. Singhania highlighted the awards’ legacy, stating, “The ICOTY and IMOTY awards stand as a testament to the remarkable achievements in India’s dynamic automotive landscape. In addition to the main awards, special honors were also presented to other standout vehicles. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Long Wheelbase secured the ICOTY Premium Car Award 2025, recognized for its unmatched luxury, comfort, and advanced features tailored to Indian conditions. The MG Windsor received the ICOTY Green Car Award 2025 for its contributions to sustainable mobility, with innovative initiatives like Battery-as-a-Service and a lifetime battery warranty reshaping consumer perception about electric vehicles (EVs).

The winners were selected through a rigorous evaluation process involving 28 jury members from leading automotive publications, collectively bringing over 400 years of expertise. Vehicles were assessed on a range of criteria, including design, safety, performance, fuel efficiency, technological innovation, and adaptability to Indian driving conditions.
