Reliance Jio in Odisha: Further solidifying its No. 1 position as the most preferred digital service provider in Odisha, Reliance Jio added the highest around 1.85 lakh mobile subscribers in Odisha in the month of July 2024. This has been revealed by the latest telecom subscription data published by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), recently. Apart from Jio, BSNL is the only other service provider to have added subscribers in July as it added around 66000 mobile subscribers in the month. Among others, Airtel lost over 43000 mobile subscribers while VI lost over 1000 subscribers during this period. Total mobile subscriber base in Odisha as on July 31, 2024, increased to over 3.43 crores, as per the data published by TRAI.
Reliance Jio also further cemented its leadership position in wireline segment as it added over 11000 JioFiber and Jio AirFiber subscribers in July. With this, Jio has become the only service provider to have crossed 3 lakh wireline subscribers in the state. As on 31st July, Jio has over 3.21 lakh JioFiber and Jio AirFiber customers in the state, enjoying the latest world-class home entertainment, unlimited WiFi and seamless highspeed broadband.
