BHUBANESWAR: 419 Artificer Apprentices of the Indian Navy graduated from INS Chilka, the premier sailors training establishment of the Indian Navy today.
The Passing out Parade, reviewed by Brigadier Sumeet Mathur, Commandant AD Centre, Gopalpur, marked the culmination of nine weeks of ab-initio training that commenced on February 19 this year.
The trainees were put through the various rigours of the training including parade training, swimming, sports and physically enduring exercises.
Vikram,Vikash Kumar and Vikas Artificer Apprentices of Indian Navy were adjudged the best trainees in their batch.
All successful trainees will now proceed to professional training schools for the next phase of their training, officials informed.
