BHUBANESWAR: Travel blogger Bhuban Patra’s book “Lotus Land –The Secrets of Padma Kshetra” was released here this week.
The book was released in a literary gathering collectively by eminent writer Haraprasad Das, well-known music director Swaroop Nayak and Iti Samanta, editor of the popular Odia magazine Kadambini.
“This work of fiction is set in the thirteenth century Kalinga, and the story revolves around the magnificent sun temple built at Konark,” revealed the writer who was also present on the occasion.
The speakers were unanimous in their views that the history of Odisha should be loudly and proudly told to the world.
A travel blogger by choice and a marketing executive by profession, Bhuban Patra hails from Balasore and based in Bhubaneswar.
He is an avid traveller who found interest in writing when he started exploring and blogging about Odisha and its inheritance.
“Where is Ekamra” has been his debut as a book author.
