Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel dedicates ‘Mor Bijli’ to the public

Raipur: Much to the cheer of the power consumers of the state, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has dedicated ‘Mor Bijli’, an app that offers multiple benefits and facilities, in a bid to provide easy-to-access online electricity services.

The newly launched app offered by Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited (CSPDCL) aims at doorstep delivery of services as envisioned by the Chief Minister, the Company officials stated.

Chhattisgarh is the first state to launch such a multi-utility app where over 90 per cent of the services offered by the CSPDCL can be availed, they claimed.

“They are adopting the latest technology for production, transmission and distribution of power. There is no need to visit the CSPDCL office. This app will save time, efforts and money,” stated the Chief Minister.

Baghel has aptly described the novel initiative as “Sabko bijli, sasta daam – sabko rahat, sabko kaam”.

CSPDCL has developed ‘Mor Bijli’ app in in compliance with the State Government’s policy for providing cheap and quality power to the consumers. This mobile application has got several new features by applying latest technology, the officials pointed out.

The application can be downloaded free from Google Play Store and can avail 16 different types of services,” a CSPDCL statement said.

By using this mobile application, consumers can get information regarding their power bills, can pay their bills online and can register complaint about power disruptions.

They can also get information about their last 12 months’ power bills and bill payment details of last 24 months in addition to pattern of power consumption for last 24 months and details of rebate received. All the services are offered free of cost, they explained.
