Hornbill Festival Concludes: 25th Hornbill Festival Draws Over 2 Lakh Visitors, Concludes with Spectacular Finale   The 25th edition of the Hornbill Festival culminated in a grand closing ceremony on December 10 at the Naga Heritage Village, Kisama, marking the end of the 10-day cultural extravaganza.

The festival, widely celebrated as the ‘Festival of Festivals,’ drew a staggering 2,05,968 visitors this year, reflecting its growing global appeal. Among them were 2,527 foreign tourists, 56,219 domestic visitors from across India, and 1,47,716 local tourists from Nagaland.

On the final day alone, the event saw an impressive turnout of 32,018 attendees, comprising 23,816 local visitors, 8,113 domestic tourists, and 152 international guests.  Known for showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Naga tribes, the festival featured a vibrant mix of traditional dances, indigenous games, craft exhibitions, and culinary delights, drawing visitors from all walks of life.

Both Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and Minister for Tourism and Higher Education Temjen Imna Along have acknowledged and appreciated the country and state partners, government machineries and departments, and the people of the state for the successful conduct of the festival.
