Mumbai: After a hectic outdoor shoot schedule, Deepshika Nagpal has taken a short break from her Dangal TV show Ranju Ki Betiyaan and plans to spend a couple of days with her kids at home. While her kids are excited to have her back, her co-stars Reena Kapoor and Ayub Khan already seem to miss her.
Talking about how her co-stars reacted when she was leaving, Deepshika says, ‘’From Monday, I have taken a few days off from the show Ranju Ki Betiyaan and returned home. I am happy to be home with my children but I am missing the outdoor location. It was like a mini-vacation for me and my co-actors.
We were shooting, working out, making reels and had a great time. It was a perfect bonding opportunity for us. I remember when I was leaving my co-actors – Ayub, Reena was saying ‘Deepshi, tu chale jayegi to suna suna ho jayega set’ on the other hand my kids were missing me saying the house seems empty without me. Now I don\’t know what to do, who to listen to (laughs). But I am glad I got time off and can spend time with my kids.”
While Deepshika is enjoying her time off, she can’t wait for the audience to see some major upcoming twists in Ranju Ki Betiyaan. After a small break for rejuvenation, Deepshika will be all set for a hectic yet full schedule planned ahead.
Ranju Ki Betiyaan is a heart touching story of a single mother Ranju and her struggles of raising 4 daughters in a patriarchal society. It delves into the various societal issues faced by single mothers, and will witness Ranju empowering herself to raise her four daughters single-handedly to help them achieve their dreams.
