Besides the Dos and Donts that appear through several platforms concerning the Coronovirus menace in the state, the state Health department has already geared up to tackle the situation in case.
Although there is no such cause of panic at the moment, adequate steps are being taken at every possible manner to not only create awareness but sufficient preparedness as regards medical testing labs and required man power of doctors and other auxiliary staff to face the challenges.
Although two from Paradeep have been brought to the SCB Medical College and Hospital at Cuttack for isolation treatment, there are two more people within suspect kept in isolation also.
As regards the medical lab to test the deadly virus, besides the SCB at Cuttack, there seems a wanting situation in view of the need for more such facilities. However, besides the SCB, in few private hospitals isolation wards have been opened to admit people with the infection.
Talking to Samikhsya, sources in the health ministry said that, as regards Odisha, there is little to be worried about the Corona fear and the department ‘is keeping a close watch at every possible aspect to arrest any spread’.
