Both Houses of Parliament face disruptions over various issues

New Delhi, Both Houses of Parliament witnessed stormy scene on the second consecutive day today over various issues including Pegasus snooping. The Lok Sabha has been adjourned for the day after seeing multiple adjournments. The Rajya Sabha also faced repeated adjournment.

When the Lok Sabha met after the second adjournment at 3 PM, members from Congress, TMC, DMK and others again trooped into the well raising the issue related to alleged snooping of political leaders and others. The Chair adjourned the House for the day.

Earlier, the House witnessed two adjournments on the same issues.
Opposition members had given adjournment motions on the alleged snooping and other issues. YSR Congress members were opposing the privatization of Visakhapatnam steel plant and demanding special status for Andhra Pradesh.

In the Rajya Sabha, when the House met after the second adjournment at 1 PM, YSR Congress members trooped into the well demanding special status for Andhra Pradesh. Leader of the House, Piyush Goyal urged the agitating members to allow the House to take up discussion on COVID-19 pandemic saying it is an important issue which has affected the entire world.
