CM to Visit Banpur:The Odisha Government earlier approved a proposal for upgrading and strengthening of 6794 government-run primary schools/ sections as model schools in the state under the Godavarish Mishra Adarsha Prathamik Vidyalaya (GMAPV) Scheme.
The GMAPV initiative seeks to establish a model elementary school in every Gram Panchayat, aligning with the focus of the RTE Act, 2009 on inclusivity and quality education for marginalised . However the scheme will be launch statewide by Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi on March 30 at Godavarish Govt High School at Banpur under Chilika Constituency.
In this regard, on Thursday Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan and Puri MP Sambit Patra reached the school, reviewed the arrangements and discussed with Khordha DM, SP and other officials for smooth conduction of the upcoming CM programme.
