New Delhi, The country has administered over 56 crore six lakh doses of COVID vaccine so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Union Health Ministry said, more than 55 lakh five thousand vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry said, 37 thousand 169 patients recovered from COVID during the last 24 hours and the national recovery rate has reached 97.52 per cent.
Till now, more than three crore 14 lakh people have recovered from COVID-19. The country reported 35 thousand 178 new cases in last 24 hours. Currently, India’s active caseload is at around three lakh 67 thousand.
The active cases constitute 1.14 per cent of the total reported cases, which is lowest since March last year. The Daily Positivity Rate stands at 1.96 per cent. The Ministry said, testing capacity has been substantially ramped up and 49 crore 84 lakh COVID-19 tests for have been conducted so far.
