Bhubaneswar/Chilika: Ex BJD MLA Raghunath Sahu made controversial remarks against Chilika MLA Prashant Jagdev in a press conference at Balugaon Rampur BJD party office on this afternoon.
In the press conference, Raghunath directly called Prashant Jagdev a corrupt MLA. He said, “MLA is not giving any project to anyone without taking five percent PC.” He said that during his last four-year tenure as MLA, he and his allies have been looting the Chilika Constituency.
He directly took the name of Khordha ZP Vice President Gopinath Moharana, who has taken projects worth crores of rupees in the name of his family members. Similarly, MP Representative Manas Pradhan has also taken projects worth crores.
Ex MLA Mr. Sahu also said that this news has been reached at the Naveen Niwas (CM Residence). He also indicated in this press conference that CM Patnaik will suffer the consequences if he does not stop this corruption.
He said it will be difficult for Biju Janata Dal to win Chilika Constituency in the upcoming assembly elections. However, MLA Jagdev and others did not respond to the said press conference
