Fake Tyre Factory: In a significant operation, the Cuttack Jagatpur police raided a tyre factory accused of producing and selling fake tyres under the brand names of reputed companies.
The owner of the illicit manufacturing unit was apprehended during the raid. According to sources, the owner had been distributing the fake tyres in rural areas of Odisha through a network of agents. Acting promptly on complaints, the police conducted the raid and seized the facility.
The warehouse has been sealed, and the owner is currently in custody for further questioning. The Jagatpur police have launched an investigation into the case.
