IMD issues red alert: For a long time, the Odisha has not recorded any drop in temperature. It has become such a situation that it is becoming difficult to leave the house in the morning. Today, the temperature in 4 cities of the state is above 44 degrees. Today, Angul is considered as the hottest city in the state with 44.6 degrees.

Similarly, 44.5 degrees in Nuapada and 44 degrees in Balangir & Boudh were recorded . Today, the day temperature has crossed 43 degrees in 12 cities of the state. Similarly, 32 cities recorded 40 degree or more day temperatures.

In the next 48 hours, the day temperature is likely to increase by 2 degrees in some parts of the state. According to the Meteorological Department, warm weather conditions will continue in some districts of the state for the next 4 to 5 days. Even in some districts, there is a possibility of sever heat wave conditions.
