It was not a stitch in time: Nizammuddin Tablighi Jamaat evacuated

Jharkhand minister's son who allegedly attended markaz, quarantined

It is undeniably a step taken much later than it should have been and the Centre as well as the Delhi government failed in a preemptive action.

Tablighi Jamaat’s international headquarters Nizamuddin Markaz in southwest Delhi, where around 1,400 persons were stuck in the wake of a nationwide lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, has been evacuated even as at least 11 corona positive cases from among those evacuated have been confirmed.

The Delhi government, it is alleged that, should have enforced this evacuation from the day before this huge gathering was being organised. Now with 11 positive cases, one never knows how far the ramification would be endangering the national capital as a whole.
