Mahakumbh 2025: Ahead of the grand Mahakumbh 2025, set to begin in Prayagraj on 13th January, vibrant celebrations marked the occasion with a procession by Shri Shambhu Panchayati Atal Akhara.
Accompanied by traditional music, the royal procession entered the Mahakumbh Mela camp, highlighting the spiritual and cultural significance of the event. Devotees were blessed with darshan of Lord Ganesh’s idol, the centerpiece of the procession. Renowned Prayagraj artist Rajendra Tiwari carried the symbolic Amrit Kalash on his head, inviting participation in the Mahakumbh and promoting the message of keeping the Ganga river clean.
The Uttar Pradesh government has made extensive arrangements to ensure a memorable Mahakumbh experience. For months, workers have been channeling rivers, widening roads, and leveling ghats in preparation for one of the world’s largest religious events.
Additionally, the government has introduced an AI-powered chatbot, ‘Kumbh Sah’AI’yak’, to assist pilgrims with navigation, cultural information, and travel updates.
