Ministry of Mines today organized a chintan shivir in New Delhi to shape the future of mining. Speaking at the occasion Union Minister for Coal and Mines G Kishan Reddy emphasized the need for achieving self-reliance in critical minerals. He highlighted the importance of collaboration between the government and private sector.
Mr Reddy said that the unity and determination will transform milestones into achievements. In the event, senior government officials, industry leaders, and experts have discussed transformative strategies for the mining sector, focusing on innovation, sustainability, and local manufacturing.
During the event, Minister also launched the Annual Capacity Building Program (ACBP) Training Calendar 2025. ACBP is an initiative aimed at enhancing the skills and capabilities of Ministry’s officials and field offices.
