No office for persons with disabilities, pregnant women till 31st May

New Delhi, The Centre has exempted persons with disabilities and pregnant women employees from attending its offices till the 31st of this month. In a series of steps taken by the Department of Personnel & Training towards ensuring preventive measures to contain the spread of Coronavirus, the Centre has now offered more relaxations.

The employees who are exempted from attending the office physically would have to work from home. The latest order released by DoPT says that the officers and staff should follow staggered timings to avoid over crowding in offices and workplaces.

All central government staff residing in the containment zone has also been exempted from coming to offices till the containment zone is de-notified. The order stated that all officials who attend office should strictly follow COVID-appropriate behaviour including wearing of mask, physical distancing, use of sanitizer and frequent hand-washing with soap and water.
