Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026: Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with students in the second episode of Pariksha Pe Charcha today, a special session featuring students from various cities across India. During the interaction, the Prime Minister shared insights on exam preparation, stress management and other challenges faced by students appearing for board examinations.
The 2026 edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha has recorded over 4.5 crore registrations, with an additional 2.26 crore participants engaging in associated activities, taking total participation to more than 6.76 crore individuals. Encouraging startups, the Prime Minister said students do not need to wait until the age of 25 and can start anytime. He advised students to reach out to industry professionals and understand how they work.
During the session, the Prime Minister expressed happiness that students across the country are envisioning India in 2047. He said that to become a developed nation, people must align their habits with that goal. Prime Minister Modi inspired students to dream big and stay committed to hard work, noting that dedication and consistent effort eventually lead to recognition.
Responding to a question on technology, the Prime Minister said it will reshape the nature of work and stressed the importance of understanding and adapting to it. He added that studies and passion are not separate, advising students to learn art, craft or any skill they are interested in, as it can help reduce fatigue.
Interacting with students, Prime Minister Modi said travelling as a student, especially by train, allows one to enjoy tourism fully, observe people and crowds, and gain valuable life experiences. Emphasising discipline, Modi said motivation alone cannot ensure success. He explained that inspiration combined with discipline leads to better results, citing farmers who must work on time to protect their crops.
Recalling his childhood and school days, the Prime Minister said his teachers helped him greatly and encouraged students to visit libraries and play. Highlighting the importance of proper sleep, PM Modi said adequate rest is essential to remain focused, stress-free and mentally strong during exams. He advised students to enjoy life along with studies and maintain a balanced routine.
On mastering subjects, the Prime Minister said that as exams approach, students should trust their preparation and remain calm. He noted that true mastery comes from consistent practice and learning from both success and failure. Prime Minister Modi also recalled the Pal Kshatriya incident, highlighting the role played by the tribal community in India’s freedom struggle. Emphasising inclusive development, he referred to the PM Janman Yojana launched to support tribal regions.
