Bhubaneswar: On the occasion of the 68th Birthday celebrations of Sri Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao, the visionary Chief Minister of Telangana, Sri Danam Nagender, MLA, Senior TRS leader and former Minister, has chosen Manas Kumar Sahoo, famous sand artist to design a sand motif on the tranquil beach at Jagannath Puri.
Describing KCR as a revolutionary ( Udyamakarudu) Sri Danam Nagender said that KCR has introduced path breaking schemes such as Rythu Bandhu, Dalit Bandhu, Kalyana Lakshmi to benefit the farmer and common man.
KCR through Mission Bhagiratha and Mission Kakatiya showed the country how to manage water.
Danam Nagender(MLA) emphasised that KCRs contributions will transcend the sands of time and he is destined to play a crucial role at National level very soon.
The sand motif made by the International Sand Artist, Manas Kumar Sahoo near the Light House of Jagannath Dham,Puri on the Golden Sea Beach,is 20 ft wide in which 20 tonnes sand was used. To sculpt this beautiful sand sculpture he took about 7 long hours with a birthday message for KCR,which read as “Happy Birthday toKCR”!.
