Sukhoi 30 MKI Aircraft: President Droupadi Murmu has undertaken her maiden flight at Sukhoi 30 MKI aircraft at Tezpur air force station today on the last day of her Assam visit.
President Murmu is in Assam on her three-day visit. The President was received by the Chief of Eastern Air Command, Air Marshal SP Dharkar.
Governor Gulab Chand Kataria and Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma were also present on the occasion. She was given a guard of honour at Tezpur air force station.
During her three-day visit to Assam, the President inaugurated the Gaj Utsav at Kaziranga national park. She also attended the platinum jubilee celebration of the Gauhati High Court in Guwahati among other activities.
