Terrorist Attack

Terrorist Attack: In the aftermath of yesterday’s terror attack in Kashmir, Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu has taken swift and decisive action to ensure the safety of stranded tourists and provide urgent assistance to affected individuals.

The Minister has spoken directly with the Home Minister and is personally monitoring developments round the clock. He is coordinating closely with security agencies, state officials, and aviation authorities to streamline relief efforts and evacuate those in need.

To facilitate the safe return of tourists, four special flights have been deployed from Srinagar—two bound for Delhi and two for Mumbai. Additional aircraft remain on standby to respond to any increase in demand for evacuation.

Minister Naidu held an emergency meeting with all airline operators and issued a firm advisory against surge pricing. Airlines have been instructed to maintain standard fare levels to prevent passengers from being financially burdened during this sensitive period.

Airlines have also been directed to extend full logistical support in transporting the mortal remains of the deceased to their respective home states. This will be done in coordination with state governments and local authorities to ensure dignity and efficiency.

The Ministry of Civil Aviation remains on high alert and fully committed to providing every possible assistance. Efforts are ongoing to support those impacted by the tragedy and maintain the safe operation of all aviation services in the region.
