Very Heavy Rain Alert: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red colour warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall with isolated extremely heavy rainfall over Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, West Madhya Pradesh and Odisha for today.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall conditions are expected over East Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka, Telangana and Vidarbha for the next two days.
The weather agency predicted heavy rainfall conditions over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Marathwada, West Rajasthan and the southern parts of the country today.
Meanwhile, in Delhi, the sky is likely to remain cloudy with a possibility of light rain today. The IMD has forecast that tomorrow’s maximum temperature will hover around 34 to 36 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature will be around 26 to 28 degrees.
