Rahul Gandhi congratulates Wayanad tribal girl who cleared civil service

Congress president Rahul Gandhi contesting from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat has congratulated Ms Sreedhanya Suresh who cleared the prestigious civil service examinations becoming the first tribal girl from Kerala in the civil service.

Sreedhanya Suresh from Wayanad, is the first tribal girl from Kerala to be selected for the civil service,” Rahul said in a tweet.

“Sreedhanya’s hard work & dedication have helped make her dream come true. I congratulate Sreedhanya and her family and wish her great successs in her chosen career,” Rahul added.

Reacting to her achievement, Sreedhanya Suresh said in a tweet that “I am from #Wayanad , the most backward district of #Kerala . There are no tribal #IAS officers from here. I hope to be an inspiration to the future generations to overcome all hurdles.”

Senior Congress leàder and Opposition leader in Kerala Assembly, Ramesh Chennithala also said “Sreedhanya Suresh from Wayanad is the first from Kurichya community to clear the prestigious civil service examination.”

“Your victory battling all odds is an inspiration for the underprivileged sections of the society. Entire Kerala is proud of your achievement,” Chennithala added.

BJP Sate President PS Sreedharan Pillai also congratulated the girl from Wayanad for her hard work and the achievement.

BJP-led NDA candidate in Wayanad, Thushar Vellappally (BDJS) congratulated her for becoming the first tribal girl from Kerala, especially Wayanad, in clearing the prestigious civil service examinations.
