Although the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained but the fire perhaps started when some cracker was being made.Police has started the probe into this illegally run cracker manufacturing unit.

Odisha police has succeeded to arrest one Bodhisatwa Bhattacharya from Bhubaneswar who had allegedly robbed at the residence of Bengali actress Rituparna Sengupta of cash and valuables. An ACP of the Delhi police, in a shocking incident, jumped from the 10th floor of the police head quarter in Delhi and committed suicide. The dead officer’s body was found in the porch of the building . Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan has shot a letter to the chief minister Naveen Patnaik for quick initiatives towards the setting up of the plastic plant in Paradeep which is a joint venture of the state and the centre. Rehana Fathima, an employee of BSNL and activist who tried to enter the Sabarimala temple was suspended by her employer BSNL for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments through Facebook post in which she was shown dressed like the Lord Ayappa. It had happened in October when Fathima was arrested on Tuesday and she will remain suspended until further investigations.
