(UNI) Kolavallur Police recovered 18 country-made-but-powerful bombs from Cherikkal near Panoor on Monday.
According to police, “The bomb were seen kept inside a pit of a quarry owned by one Thankachan, while conducting raids at all the politically-sensitive places of Thalassery.”
Police said that the raids will be continued in coming days.
Panoor is one of the politically sensitive areas of the district, which had witnessed political clashes between the CPI(M) and BJP cadres for the last several years.
