Bhubaneswar, Ministry of Railways has decided to introduce a daily Sewa Express train between Bhubaneswar and Nayagarh Town from October 15 next. Union Minister of Railways and Minister of Commerce & Industries Piyush Goyal will inaugurate Bhubaneswar-Nayagarh Town Sewa Express through video conferencing from New Delhi on October 15, 2019, along with other 9 Sewa Express Trains in different parts of the country.
Odisha Ministers Padmanabha Behera, Arun Kumar Sahoo and Ashok Chandra Panda, BJD MP Pinaki Mishra and BJP MP Aparajita Sarangi besides BJD MLAs Ananta Narayan Jena and Susant Kumar Rout will present at the function to be held at Bhubaneswar Railway Station. The inaugural run of the train will commence from Bhubaneswar on October 15 and will leave Bhubaneswar at 1840 hrs and l reach at Nayagarh Town at 2045 hrs.
In the return direction, this train will leave Nayagarh Town at 0630 hrs and will arrive at Bhubaneswar at 0900 hrs. East Coast Railway (ECoR) sources here today said in view of the introduction of Sewa Express, it has been decided to revise the timings of earlier running passenger trains between Khurda Road and Nayagarh Town for operational feasibility.
The 58431 Khurda Road-Nayagarh Town Passenger will leave Khurda Road at 0820 hrs instead of earlier timings at 0715 hrs and will reach at Nayagarh Town at 0945 hrs instead of earlier timings at 0855 hrs. In the return direction, 58432 Nayagarh Town-Khurda Road passenger will leave at Nayagarh Town at 1000 hrs instead of earlier timings at 0920 hrs and will reach at Khurda Road at 1145 hrs instead of earlier timing at 1105 hrs.
Similarly, 58429 Khurda Road-Nayagarh Town Passenger will leave Khurda Road at 2015 hrs instead of earlier timings at 1930 hrs and will reach at Nayagarh Town at 2140 hrs instead of earlier timings at 2110 hrs. In the return direction, the timings of 58430 Nayagarh Town-Khurda Road passenger will remain unchanged. This train will leave Nayagarh Town at 0500 hrs and will reach at Khurda Road at 0645 hrs.
