New Delhi: Indian Railways on Wednesday postponed its Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) and 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) of Centralized Employment Notification following protests by job aspirants over the selection process of its recruitment exams. It has also formed a high power committee to look into the concerns and doubts raised by candidates in regard to the results of 1st Stage CBT of NTPC issued by Railway Recruitment Boards on 14-15th of this month.
The Committee will look into the results of 1st Stage CBT and methodology used for shortlisting candidates for 2nd Stage CBT without affecting existing shortlisted candidates. It will also look into introduction of 2nd Stage CBT in Centralized Employment Notification.
The candidates can lodge their concerns and suggestions to the committee at email id- [email protected]. All Chairpersons of Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have also been directed to receive the grievances of candidates through their existing channels, compile these grievances and send the same to Committee.
Briefing reporters in New Delhi, Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said, candidates have been given three weeks time upto 16th of February to submit their concerns to the committee. He said, after examining these concerns, the committee will submit their recommendations by 4th March this year.
