The third case of a COVID-19 patient which came to the light two days back had abandoned a shock, rightly or wrongly, making one private hospital, Kar Clinic, to take the battering to an extent of subjecting the latter to a huge trust deficit for no fault of it, in essence.
However, some media houses and news portals took the objective route allowing the concerned Clinic authorities to place their part of defence.
May not be case of scapegoating the latter but, for once, it appeared, as if, symbolically, the sin was being laid on it rather than the virus victim.
And not even a pat of solace for the clinic whatsoever for all that it has done to this date.
At last, Kar Clinic has got the required clean chit from the concerned wing of the government and chosen the fair path, even to bring it to the notice of the highest authority, that is the chief minister Naveen Patnaik.
He has forwarded the tweet from the Heath & Family Welfare Department to the CMO, which aims to clear the smog of confusion .
Taking to the twitter handle, the MD of the Clinic has forwarded the same to the the chief minister’s office regarding the measures already initiated by them as per the advice of the H & FW Dept of Odisha .
The tweet from the H & FW says “Kar Clinic Bhubaneswar has been sanitised and advised to provide emergency continuum care such as dialysis”.
Making a clean breast on the prevailing situation, the tweet reads “ however, the care providers who had come in contact with the third COVID positive case need to be on isolation and the SOP issued by DHS to be followed”.
That should go a long way to help the clinic restore its place of position.
