Manipal University Jaipur: Responding to the growing interest from prospective students and their families, Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) hosted a grand “Open House” event on its campus. Designed to provide comprehensive information and personalized guidance, the event welcomed hundreds of enthusiastic attendees, including aspiring students and their parents.
The day began with a warm welcome address by Dr. Nitu Bhatnagar, Provost of MUJ. In her inspiring speech, she urged students to explore diverse opportunities and make informed decisions for their future. Dr. Bhatnagar also reflected on MUJ’s remarkable journey over the past 13 years, highlighting its achievements and growth as a centre of academic excellence.
Mr. Gaurav Yadav, Deputy Director of Admissions, and Dr. Naresh Kedia, Deputy HoD of Business Administration, delivered an insightful presentation detailing MUJ’s wide array of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Mr. Yadav emphasized the university’s unique offerings through the “7 Cs” – Course, Curriculum, Campus, Cost, Competition, Culture – and the promising Career outcomes associated with MUJ’s academic framework.
Following the session, attendees were taken on a guided campus tour. Students had the opportunity to visit various academic departments where Heads of Departments and senior faculty members introduced them to the curriculum, facilities, and cutting-edge infrastructure, including advanced laboratories.
The open house also featured interactive Q&A sessions where parents and students engaged directly with faculty and admissions staff to clarify doubts and gain deeper insights into life at MUJ. Director of Admissions, Prof. Prakash Ramani, along with his team, played a key role in facilitating these discussions and offering personalized support throughout the event.
A highlight of the tour was the visit to MUJ’s newly launched Bloomberg Lab – the first of its kind in Rajasthan and North India – which reflects the university’s strong focus on research, innovation, and interdisciplinary learning. In his closing remarks, Prof. Ramani extended his heartfelt thanks to all attendees, reaffirming MUJ’s commitment to academic excellence and student success.
