New Delhi, Dec 1 Maruti Suzuki India on Sunday reported a 1.9 per cent decline in its November sales to 1,50,630 units, compared on a year-on-year basis.
The company had sold 1,53,539 units in November 2018.
In a regulatory filing, Maruti Suzuki said that the sale of domestic passenger vehicles in the month in consideeration declined by 3.3 per cent to 1,39,133 units.
Further, with the sale of 2,267 units of the light commercial vehicle model — ‘Super Carry’ — a year-on-year (Y-o-Y) growth of 6.5 per cent, the total domestic sales of the company in November stood at 1,41,400 units, which was 3.2 per cent lower than the corresponding period last year.
“Maruti Suzuki India Ltd sold a total of 1,50,630 units in November 2019. This includes 1,41,400 units in domestic market, 2,286 units of domestic OEM sales and 6,944 units of exports,” the filing said.
Maruti’s exports slumped 7.7 per cent during the period under review to 6,944 units.
