This must administer some fine sense to all revellers across that, a small restraint can really do good if the usual mode of celebration be restrained to a limit on this Holi.

It is none other than the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi , who has decided to keep away from the hubbub of get-togethers.

That is a message, in itself, is abundantly telling one, that, with the COVID-19 threat looming, it would be prudent for all to allow the urges to undergo a sieve of caution before the situations turn into an unbounded celebration.

Coming this from the PM itself, where all guards of safety are up all the time, normal people have a reason for restraint.

By highlighting what the prime minister said, it is not about himself but, his tweet had a broader outreach that must be taken note of.

Even the union home minister Amit Shah, has decided to stay away from the ruckus of Holi ‘milans’ precisely for the reason that, contamination requires no particular route.

Some may argue that, things are being made scary but, an infection can also be an outcome of an avoidable remiss.

Doctors keep pleading about that, if not panic, then a serious consciousness is equally indispensable.

It is also expected that, the chief minister of Odisha, who shows a dignified aversion from such revelries, must make an equal appeal to all to fine-tune the scale of the Holi euphoria down to a symbolic one, within the confines of a joyousness and not the chest-bump types.
