Odisha to launch “Mo Sarkar”programme from October 2 based on 5 T principles- Naveen

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today announced a new programme “Mo Sarkar”(My Government) from October 2 next in Odisha basing on the principle of Team Work, Technology, Transparency, Transformation and Time limit(5T). Unfurling the tricolour and addressing the state level 73rd Independence day celebration at the Exhibition Ground here, Mr.Patnaik said the people are most important in a democracy and their opinion and suggest are prime for the government.

Stating that the serving people is the government and it runs for the people and with their money, he said the new programme “My Government” will be introduced based on 5 T in the state. Patnaik said in the first phase the programme will be implemented in all police stations across the state and the District headquarter hospitals from October 2, the Gandhi Jayanti day. In the next phase, the programme will be implemented in all the departments before March 5, 2020, in the state. The Chief Minister said the 5 T is being implemented to give the people their right and make the administration more accountable and responsive.

“ I am your chief minister and I will make phone calls to you to find out what response you have received in police stations on your complaint and treatment in hospitals besides your experience in the government departments”, Mr Patnaik said. The Chief Minister further said his council of ministers will also telephone to “you” and find out your difficulties in the government offices. The senior officers at the state and district level will also inquire from you about the services available in the government offices.

Patnaik said electricity has reached every village in the state and assured that if any house has been deprived of electricity, it will be available within 48 hours of applying to the panchayat office. Stating that the focus of his government’s programmes is common public, the Chief Minister called upon the people to work unitedly for the welfare of the common man and build a new Odisha. The Chief Minister reiterated his demand for inclusion of non-violence in the preamble of the Indian Constitution stating that this would boost the pride of our democracy in the whole world. (UNI)
