Shah dubs BJD govt much worse than Cong govt, calls for a change

Accusing the BJD government in Odisha much worse than the Congress government, BJP president Amit Shah today asked the people to chose a government in the state who will not take a confrontation attitude with Mr Modi at the Centre.
Releasing the party manifesto christened as “New Odisha manifesto”, Mr Shah dubbed the Naveen Patnaik government in Odisha as incompetent, incapable, lazy, lack of foresight and being run by the bureaucrats.
The BJP chief said he has seen the writings on the wall that this time the BJP will form the government in the state and assured that the BJP will reestablish the state in the national and international map as the model state.
Mr Shah had a dig at Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and said let the people chose a Chief Minister who can read, write and speak odia and will understand the culture, heritage and tradition of the state.
He accused the Chief Minister of encouraging the mining mafias, shielding the people involved in the Chit fund scam and announced that if voted to power the BJP will see that all those involved in the mining and chit fund scam will be in jail.
The BJP President further said his party will establish a new Odisha ,not explored by the governments in the past. The state he said had lost its identity during the Congress government as well as the during the 19 years rule of the BJD government.
The people of Odisha, he said should chose a government who will not take any confrontation with Mr Modi and move with him shoulder to shoulder and this could be only possible if the BJP is voted to power in the state.
Mr Shah said the pilgrim city of Puri will be made as the cultural capital of the country, Metro rail services will be introduced between Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, all the priests in the state will be provided Rs1000 per month and five lakh jobs would be created by promoting tourism in the country.
He said 15 new tourists circuits will be established in the state and Digha- Gopalpur coastal highway will be taken up, every district in the state will have a medical college and the Ayushman Bharat scheme will be implemented.
Mr Modi said the Central act of capital punishment will be in force in the state for the accused involved in the rape and murder of minor girls in the state.
The BJP, he said will create a new Odisha where the poverty will be completely wiped out, the poor class will become middle class and the middle class people will turn into upper class.
