A strong Chowkidar is required for a strong government and strong nation,Prime Minister Narendra Modai on Tuesday said and urged the people to vote BJP to power both at the state and the Centre.
Addressing Vijay Sanklap Samabesh at Basta, the second election meeting after Kendrapara, Mr.Modi promised to ensure ‘’Subka Surakhya and Sabka Samman’’ if voted to power.
He said Chowkidar is easing and securing life for all.
Mr Modi said he has got a clear indication that the lotus will bloom and the BJP will form the next government in Odisha.
Odisha , he said is crying for a change when he came to Balasore three years back and the presence of so many people at the Vikash Sanklap Samabesh here indicated that Odisha is going for a change.
Mr.Modi appealed to people to give a chance to BJP to serve the people of the state for five years and promised to do five times more work than what has been done during the last 19 years rule of BJD government.
The Prime Minister alleged that the corruption in the BJD government has reached a monstrous level and the state government is encouraging corruption as a result Odisha failed to make desired development.
Accusing the BJD government of riddled with various scams like mining scam and chit fund scam and looting the poor, Mr.Modi said a handful of officers have imprisoned Mr Naveen Patnaik for their own vested interest.
The Prime Minister said ‘’ We are committed to put an end to corruption and red tapism’’ . People looting the poor would not be forgiven, he remarked.
He said Balasore has many tourist places which were neglected for the last 20 years.
Describing the various projects being implemented in the state by the BJP government in the state for the speedy development of the state, Mr Modi said Odisha can prosper if the double engine government starts working.
The Prime Minister criticized the Congress led UPA government for ignoring the anti-satellite technology critical for national security.
He said the success of the Mission Shakti, brought India the distinction of being the fourth power in the world to have the anti- satellite technology Everybody took pride in it except the Mahamilawat wale.
The Congress, he said wanted to keep it a secret and asked the public whether the success should be kept a secret to which the people responded with a big ‘’ No.”
