Hours after counting began in Andhra Pradesh for 175 Assembly seats polled on April 11, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will tender his resignation on Thursday evening following the debacle of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) government.
TDP sources said that Mr Naidu would send his resignation letter to Governor ESL Narasimhan.
Mr Naidu is not available to the media till now.
Chandrababu Naidu is the only leader from the anti-BJP camp who has been trying hard to knit together a coalition to dare the NDA at the centre and strike a political alternative for the country. But now it seems the efforts at the formation of a Mahagathbandhan seems a far and few and the Modi dispensation is coming back with an over-riding victory.
