CPI(M) Protests detention of Sitaram Yechury at Srinagar airport

Yechury asks Centre to release GST dues to states

CPI(M)’s Polit Bureau today condemns the alleged detention of party general secretary Sitaram Yechury and his CPI counterpart D Raja at the Srinagar airport.
The Communist Party of India (Marxist) in a statement said ” This shows the authoritarian face of the BJP government.”
Sitaram Yechury and D Raja had gone to Srinagar to visit Md Tarigami, MLA, the ailing leader of the CPI(M) and to meet the people of J&K. The CPI(M) called upon the people to protest this “anti-democratic act of the BJP government”.
