Former Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today announced that his party Legislators will contribute their one month Salary towards Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for taking up Flood relief works in North Karnataka.
On his tweeter account on Friday, Kumaraswamy lauded the relief works undertaken by various agencies including Army, NDRF, SDRF, Fire Fighters and others. I will be visiting the affected places very soon.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, welcoming Infosys Foundation Chairperson Sudha Murthy announcing a contributing Rs 10 Crore towards CM’s Relief Fund, appealed to the Industrialists to contribute generously towards relief works.
Council members of Bruhut Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) have already announced their one month salary towards the Fund. JDS lone MP from Karnataka representing Hassan Constituency Prajwal Revanna has also announced contribution of his one month salary towards the CM’s Relief Fund.
