Ballari, Dec 25 (UNI) A teen-aged girl, who was attacked and dragged away by a leopard earlier in the day in Devalpur Village of Kampli taluk in the District, succumbed to injuries in the hospital on Tuesday.
Police said that the victim was identified as Jayasudha (13), native of the Devalpur village .
The girl was playing in front of Farm House when the man-haunter attacked and dragged to some distance. Workers raised alarm and chased away the animal and the girl was immediately shifted to hospital where she failed to respond to the treatment and died
