Aakash Aath, one of the most popular regional general entertainment channels, has announced the launch of a crime thriller series, ‘Section 302’, based on true international and national incidents, to be aired from July 15, every Monday to Wednesday from 9:30 pm.
Sandhi Mukherjee, IPS, former Inspector General Of Police, West Bengal and V. Kumar, former Director General, Fire & ADG, Railways graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
The episodes of Section 302 will be based on the real-life crime incidents. The main
objective of the series is to create awareness amongst the citizens to fight and raise a
voice against crime, cybercrime and other criminal offenses.
Many prominent directors of the industry have come forward and showed interest to
work in the series which adds a different taste and flavours altogether in each of the
episodes. The prominent Directors who will be working in the show are Riingo Banerjee, Anirban Chakraborty, Sayantan Mukherjee among others. Renowned actors like Joy Bhattacharya, Indrajit Mazumder, Anindya Bose & Titas Bhowmick will be seen in some of the episodes.

Section 302 was launched in the presence of the Directors and the Artists ofthe
series including Riingo Banerjee, Sayantan Mukherjee, Joy Bhattacharya, Anirban
Chakraborty, Indrajit Mazumder, Anindya Bose, Ms Eshita Surana, Director, Aakash
Aath and Ashok Surana, Chairman, Aakash Aath.
The first story of the series that will go on air is ‘Ghoon’ which is directed by Anirban
Chakraborty and actors Chandreyee Ghosh, Anindyo Ghosh & Lama worked for the
same.
