Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP leaders, including party working president J P Nadda, on Saturday swept floors at AIIMS to kick-start ‘seva saptah’ (service week) to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, who will turn 69 on September 17. Mr Shah visited the AIIMS, met patients and enquired about their health. He distributed fruits to them and wished them a speedy recovery.
‘Our Prime Minister has dedicated his entire life to the service of the nation and the poor, so it is the right time to celebrate the week of his birthday as ‘Seva Saptah (service week)’. BJP workers across the country will launch it,’ Mr Shah added. (UNI)
