Newly formed Bhupesh Government in Chhattisgarh has approved farm loan waiver of Rs 6100 crore for farmers within a few hours after it was sworn-in.
In a cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Monday night, it was decided to waive off short-term farm loan of Rs 6100 crore in cooperative banks and Chhattisgarh Gramin Bank as on November 30, 2018. More than 16 lakh 65 thousand farmers will get benefit.
