Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan on Tuesday reached the state capital to shoot for his upcoming movie ‘Gulabo Sitabo.’
The shooting will start from June 19 and the actor is slated to shoot in Lucknow for about a month.
Apart from Amitabh Bachchan, actor Ayushman Khurana is also set to be seen in the movie which is a family comedy based on Lucknow.
A portion of the film has been shot in Mumbai and the rest will be done in the state capital as well as the neighbouring areas. The story of the film has been written by Juhi Chaturvedi.
Reportedly, the film will be shot at iconic spots in the ‘City of Nawabs’ including Chowk and Hazratganj whereas other shots could be taken at old buildings and streets apart from the Ambedkar Park and the Eco Park. Several scenes could also be shot at some historical monuments.
Sources say that Big B can also visit Kakori during this shoot. Notably, the actor has farms in Kakori and he could visit the same. The actor could also have a meeting with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Lucknow’s senior artiste Archana Shukla will portray the character of Ayushman Khurana’s mother in the movie Gulabo Sitabo and will be seen living as a tenant in Amitabh Bachchan’s home.
