The Indian Space Agency on Sunday released the pictures of Earth captured by Chandrayaan-2, which was launched from the spaceport of Sriharikota on July 22, scheduled for entering the Lunar surface on August 20, with a soft landing on the Moon’s South Pole on September seven to explore hitherto an unexplored frontier.
ISRO in its twitter, posted five images of Earth captured by Chandrayaan-2 L14 camera last evening. ‘First set of beautiful images of the Earth captured by #Chandrayaan2 #VikramLander’, the tweet said.
The pictures were captured between 1728 hrs and 1737 hrs last evening.’Earth as viewed by #Chandrayaan2 LI4 Camera on August 3′, it said.
