The empowerment of India with inclusive growth is what Congress is aiming at, All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary (incharge of Eastern UP ) Priyanka Vadra said.
Speaking at public meeting held as part of election campaigning for AICC President and her brother Rahul Gandhi in Mananthawady on Friday, Ms Vadra alleged that the BJP has ruined the country by cheating the adivasis, dalits and the poor but at the same time the party helped few to amass wealth. Not only the demonetization resulted in the economic chaos but the BJP-led NDA Government also divided the nation by disintegrating the secular credentials, she said.
The BJP has since for long been trying to defame my brother, parents and grand parents. But, Rahul is capable of withstanding all such ridiculing, she said, adding that Mr Gandhi believes in equality and non-partisan among the people of the country. (UNI)
