All India Congress Committee today released the list of candidates for two Lok Sabha and nine Vidhan Sabha seats for the upcoming polls.
The two Lok Sabha candidates are:
1- Jajpur: Manas Jena
2- Cuttack: Panchanan Kanungo
The candidates to have secured Congress Vidhan Sabha tickets in this phase are:
1- Balasore: Manas Das Patnaik
2- Dharmasala: Smruti Rekha Pahi
3- Jajpur: Santosh Kumar Nanda
4- Hindol: Trinath Behera
5- Kamakhyanagar: Bhabani Shankar Mohapatra
6- Baramba: Bobby Mohanty
7- Paradeep: Arindam Sarkhel
8- Pipili: Yudhisthir Samantaray
9- Begunia: Prithvi Ballabh Patnaik
It may be mentioned here that the state will go to polls in four phases starting April 11. Polls for the Lok Sabha’s 543 elected seats are being held in seven phases from April 11 to May 19. Odisha Assembly polls, on the other hand, will be conducted in four phases between April 11 and April 29. The counting of votes will be conducted on 23 May, and the results will be declared on the same day.
