The obvious has happened and senior BJP leader Dr Damodar Rout has on Wendsday resigned from the party. Rout has alleged that he has been ignored by the BJP leadership for long for which he decided to exit the saffron unit.
However, saying that he wants to leave active electoral politics but, in as many words he also has stated that he may not join any other party but so far he has no such feeler from any other party mainly BJD. If some thing comes then he may take a call . Rout makes it clear that in case some offer comes then he may also go back to the BJD.
