The Supreme Court on Saturday gave the disputed Ayodhya site to Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas while five acres of alternate land to Sunni Waqf to build the mosque. The court also ordered the Central government to formulate a scheme within three months to implement this order. A five-judge constitutional bench led by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi delivered the judgement 40 days after a mediation attempt of finding an out of court settlement failed.
