The Gandhi-Vadra family joined Congress president Rahul Gandhi in a roadshow here before the leader filed his nominations from the constituency for the fourth time in a row on Wednesday.
The Congress President, along with Congress general secretary(UP east), her husband Robert Vadra and their children Raihan Vadra and Miraya Vadra waved to the huge crowd, atop a make shift bus.
UPA president Sonia Gandhi, however, was not in the bus due to health issues. The entire Gandhi-Vadra family will also attend the nomination process of Sonia Gandhi in Rae Bareli on Thursday.
However, this was the first time that entire Vadra family had joined the political exposure together. Earlier, Mr Vadra used to campaign alone in support of his brother-in-law.
The road show started late just around noon, but as it commenced, the Congress workers waved party flags and raised slogans. The family, including Robert Vadra, also responded by waving out to the people.
Miraya Vadra, who was experiencing her first political exposure, was standing beside her mother Ms Vadra.
