Four farmers commit suicide owing to distress in Nashik

 (UNI) Four farmers committed suicide in the district, due to crop failure and mounting loan burden, police said.
Of four, three are from Malegaon tehsil and one from Satana tehsil.
Three ended their lives by taking poison and one farmer hanged himself on Friday.
A 55-year-old farmer Shivaji Nimba Kapadnis from Sarde village in Satana tehsil committed suicide by consuming poison in his farm at Umbardu shivar near his house as his father had taken a loan of Rs 10 lakh, which he could not repay. Owing to this he was in depression and took the extreme step, police said.
In second incident, Dnyaneshwar Shivankar (35) resident of Kandhane village in Malegaon tehsil committed suicide by consuming poison.
In the third incident, Chetan Keda Bacchav (23) committed suicide by hanging himself at his house at Nandgaon Khurde village in Malegaon tehsil.
